I thought this was well written. It flowed nicely. I love dancing. Im terrible at it but I enjoy watching people dance. I didn't see any mistakes and thought it was well written. Good job.

Thanks very much for this review - and for the slice of your life, as well. It's the best of both parts of FanStory: the technical and the social! I love it! xo

Hello Rachelle,
You sound amazing. You who can do all things well. I just took piano lessons as an adult and turned to teaching. I thought I was living the dream just with that. Who knows what I might have done if I had lessons as a child. But I didn't. However, my oldest daughter is like you. She is a school band teacher now. She played piano and sang in choirs and excelled at all things music. She loved performing whereas I have stage fright. I live through her achievements. I'm proud as punch of her as your family and friends are of you.
It is fascinating to read your stories. It reminds me of how plain and unremarkable I am. Heavy sigh...
Looking forward to reading about your pre-school dance class. Molly took ballet lessons for a while, but her mom decided it wasn't for her when Molly was doing everything in class except what the rest of the class was doing lol. It was fun while it lasted.

hahahah. Joy, I absolutely love this review!! It was so fun to read about your life and all YOU have accomplished, and about your daughter and her accomplishments, as well. That's what great about FanStory; it's SO much more than just 'the writing.' Thank you for this terrific feedback. xo

Haha - I love your statement about dignity being over rated. What a crazy cast that was!
Why on earth would you be called Shelly if your name is Rachelle? That's not a very likely nickname, at least not to me.
Another enjoyable look into your life's adventures, Shelly. I just had to try it out - nope, doesn't work for me, LOL. Hugs, Lou

Well, my grown-up name is pronounced Ruh-SHELL. So, "Shelley" is a diminutive form of the second syllable.
And thank gawd that version doesn't work for you, Lou; because then I'd have to be your piano teacher - and you live a ways outside of my territory!
Thanks for the nice review. xo

Lesson: Teaching is also a "performing art" and, as such, requires talent and creativity, dedication and hard work that does not go unnoticed by those in the field.
I am a teacher and wish I could tattoo this somewhere...but thankfully the die t is working so I will just put it with my favorite quotes. I love your spirit...
God bless...I could also title it ...fake it until you make it

Well, as one who's favorite of those three was tap, glad you winged it well! ;) ;) Think I'd probably break an ankle now, though. :) ;) I think someone should upload the 'swanson lake' performance up to youtube for the rest of us to enjoy...LOL! :) ;) Thanx for sharing, ma'am!! :) ;)

I've watched it recently, and I have to say, it's every bit as funny to me all these years later! I guess some schtick is just classic.
Thanks for the review, Yvette. And I don't believe for a minute you'd break an ankle. It's like riding a bike...except with music and a rhythmic pulse. xo

I love your writing! I particularly liked "at various stages of hair loss and waistline gain," These are wonderful, and funny, examples of life lessons.

Hey Rachelle :)
I am enjoying reading about your life so much. It is just fascinating, I want to read everything all at once!
So well written, your tone is engaging and I'm hanging onto every word.
I like how you intersperse your write with lessons - it's really effective as a move on to the next little bit.
Best wishes as always, Debra:)

A life in music and dance must be the best of all. In your funny way, you deliver some powerful lessons. This is a pleasure to read. I wish my granddaughter could have you as her teacher. She would soak it up!
