Hello Barb
Sorry I'm late reading this very intentional chapter
of Anderson (Drew) and Shana having their conversation of how good it's written so I myself wanted Shana to understand the feelings Drew has for her.

This is really good. Very well put together and thought out. It flowed nicely and had imagery and emotion. I really enjoyed reading this. Overall really well done.

Love is so darn complicated but should not be...silly me. This is really very well written and deeply moving too. My heat just breaks for Shana but my respect for Drew just grows and grows. They have to figure this out. No matter what Shana thinks, they are meant for each other....in my humble opinion.

You write well, keeping the reader expecting for what's to come next. It keeps the interest going. Different classes, different statures, different beings, mesmerized by love. Well done.

Hi, Barbara,
A wonderfully written chapter to give others insight into the deep differences between Shana and Drew. In the world today, it seems that there aren't any lines, but the Jewish people have traditions dating back centuries and millennium. I'm glad Shana is having such a hard time, otherwise, I would doubt her upbringing,

The more things change the harder some cultures struggle to remain the same. Thank you for the kind review.

Oh, goodie, he's going to kiss her. Do it, Drew. Do it now. Then we'll have a new conflict to deal with. You'll have to win over Papa. If you don't kiss her now, you'll ruin the story. It's TIME. DO IT NOW!

Barbara:
When two people are not equally yoked in a relationship, there are bound to be problems no matter how much love is involved. It doesn't mean that Drew and Shana can't work towards that goal; however, it is obvious she is afraid to. A marvelous addition to your novel.

Barbara,
What a sad situation. I understand and respect Shana's desire to find someone with her belief system, and the disparagement does seem like it would cause both of them great pain and inner struggles. A nice additional touch to your story-line. Smart.
One note:
I've done most (of) the talking, and you said it's your turn."
Thanks!

Shana tries to talk to drew, but the matter of different religious faiths is still a big obstacle for her. Andrew certainly respects her feelings and values her opinions. She tries, but it seems that it's still hard for her to talk to Andrew. Great conversation here, and you show the thoughts of both parties. Excellent work. judi

Hi Barbara, this was a wonderful chapter. Shana does need to wake up, religion or no religion. The scene between her an Drew is very moving. I loved it. Now I can't wait for her to come around. Surely, Drew will make sure of that. All the best. Ulla:)))
