"Drew, breakfast will be ready in about twenty minutes. Do you want it out here?" asked Helen.
l
He glanced at Shana. "You decide. I don't care either way."
(There is an unwanted "1" in between here.)
Sorry it took so long. I am way behind.
Thanks for another great chapter.

Thank you for the catch. I have deleted the wayward I. LOL

Nicely done. Good flow, interesting dialogue, story moves right along without a bunch of nonsense. It's crisp, clean, and makes you want to turn the page. You do have one misplaced I or l and I have no idea how or why it's there. You may want to go back and remove that. Other than that wonderful read.

I like Romeo's attention to Shana and her freely talking to him. It felt so real. We all do that with our animal friends.
Everything else read smoothly. Excellent dialogue. Good pacing.
- That's why we need to find out exactly what Morozov is up to(,) and who he's connected to.
Best wishes,
:) ellen xx

Good character development.

LOL, somehow it strikes me funny, the way Shana thought she was talking to the dog when she was talking to Drew. Is it Drew or Jeff? I wonder.
Good job with this one. I wonder why they want her painting. It's very mysterious.

Thank you for the kind review. Shana is naive, but she will grow, or at least I hope she does.

The story is great. It contains good dialogue and is easy to follow.
However, I'm wondering if the title was a typo or if it is supposed to be like that.
Shouldn't it be: 'Chapter eight part nine?'

LOL, should be Chapter eight part one, but...I am doing it in German because... I have previously used all the English ones and combinations of ones FS will allow so I am getting creative. Thank you for the kind review.

Hello Barbara,
It's been awhile since I've bumped into you.
Enjoyed the read. A whodunnit with a love theme, no doubt, told in your unquie style.

Drew has a nice way of speaking to Shana - so polite.
I'm keen to find out what Jeff will tell us -
Mind, the dogs steal the show in this chapter,
Most enjoyable, Barbara.
Blessings,
Margaret
