Barbara,
I really like the fact that you keep your chapters - at least this one - nice and short. It made me want more and I would have kept reading. Great job!
This was informative and fun. Having Shana reveal her thoughts through conversations through the dog was effective and different. Nice!
Some notes:
1.) He's a direct descendant (from/of) Abraham."
2.) Do you think the (Russians) are as dangerous
3.) she's trying to get her (family's) painting back
--> in your notes
4.) Anderson's butler -- close friend and confidant
--> in your notes, too
Thanks!

I have made all the corrections,, except the final one. I can't find it, but I will continue looking. Thank you for the kind review.

It's in the notes about who everyone is - it's the butler

Thank you and I found it and corrected it. It's strange how I read over things and don't catch the mistakes.

I love the way you write Barbra, you make everything so real and it sounds so right and easy to read. I enjoyed this immensely especially as I am part Jewish and I always look forward to reading your intelligent tales. Kindest regards Meia x

Hello, my friend,
Dongs can be good a listeners and they don't argue... hahaha. So she's staying on, and that's good. Shana's troubled. Good job.

Hi Barbara,
good little interlude. people do seek solace in their faith at troubling times, as well as confiding in animals, so this instalment grounds the story in an identifiable reality.
All the best

I especially like the conversation with the dog. I also like the genealogy chart you posted. Has she considered Ishmael as the original Palestinian? I have wondered.

We haven't got to Ishmael, yet. That's a little later. Thank you for the kind review.

I perdsonaslly think you did a great job in showing Shana's
devotion to her religion. I even liked the Google Image - it was a
grand fit to this section of the story. What I don't quite get
is why she's lonely although she's surrounded b so many
people who only want the best for her.
And not to worry, Shana, many of us talk to dogs and
expect an answer!

LOL I don't think Shana is totally comfortable in this pent house. Thank you for the kind review.

I can handle things in there." She watched the dog tilt his head and then added, "Really I can." (Very cute)
As Romeo lowered his head, Shana whispered, "I'm talking to a dog and expecting an answer. What's wrong with me?" (I do it all the time.
Nice chapter.

Good morning, Barbara
As I've come to expect. I like the continued hook regarding the Russian Mafia and the painting."
Excellent, the way you reveal more of Shana's character through her interaction with Romeo. Enjoyed.
Take care and stay safe,

Hi,
Actually talking to your dog is very natural
I did it all the time
If you listen they have
pretty good advice you just have to be able to understand what they're saying is all
My boy talked all the time
He followed me everywhere including the bathroom and was upset if I left him out.
He was not a happy camper if he wasn't within touching distance all the time.
Anyways, this was a good chapter.
Best regards,
K River
