Hello Barb
A nice relaxing Chapter to read
I'm putting together.
Shana wants to find her family's stolen relics
or is it just a plaiting that her parents had.
So Anderson is the one who is doing the search?

Good afternoon, Barbara
Per usual, excellent dialogue and flow. The former helps the reader gain insight regarding your characters personalities. Love where Romeo follows Shana everywhere. I have two dogs that do the same. As I'm writing I have one behind me in the chair while the other is on my lap. Well done!
Take care and stay safe, Ray

I have Harley, my dachshund, right behind me. He follows me every where too. LOL Thank you for the encouragement.

Hi Barbara, I like the story a lot and this chapter brings it along a bit further. So the Sabbath is being observed, but what is to happen now? I'm looking forward to that. All the best. Ulla:)))

Good solid continuation of the plot here.
You didn't need to wait breakfast for me. - perhaps you didn't need to wait for me for breakfast? or wait on breakfast for me?
"You're apartment's very secure - Your.
"Shana, would you like some." - needs a question mark here.
I had to laugh at the bacon quip as I once worked with a lad of fourteen who seriously asked us where chicken came from!
lol

After everyone was served(,) Jane
Ha, it's easy to forget where certain foods come from (talking about the bacon in this case) I have to put my thinking cap on regularly as one of my daughter-in-laws is a Vegan - not an easy one to cook for.
A good chapter, Barbara - moving the story on.

Hello,
This story is very suspenseful and it's an interesting topic about the stolen art. You did a good job with all that research. Ending the Shabbat with the three stars was a good touch.

I love nosy Jane and Helen with her bacon. I feel your story coming together here as a classic quest narrative not only to find the whereabouts of the painting, but is importance, And why Shana is being chased. I see Jane, Helen, and even Romeo as potential allies in Anderson's and Shana's quest, as Jane said, "Who knows what other valuable information I might be able to share." These characters delight me.
Thank you for sharing your engaging read. I look forward to more.

A little transitional chapter is fine to fill us in on the Sabbath.
Delicious breakfast.
And then he's off to the museum.
It was nice of Drew to suggest buying Shana some more clothes, but she's practical and said she was fine and would launder what she had with her.
(A little insight into his generous and her frugal character.)

Hi Barbara,
I am coming into
the middle of this story.
I probably would read it
just because the
German shepherd dogs are involved.
However the chapter it self didn't have any action/ conflict that is what make s the read want to see what is going to happen. The more conflict the more excitement equals holding interest and keeping the reader turning pages. Maybe have a kid hit a baseball through the window and ball lands on Shana plate Romeo and the other dog see it and go after the ball taking breakfast with them
Best regards,
K River

Thank you for the kind review. If it doesn't add to the story, I don't write it in.

Looks like the group is settling in and finding a way to get to know each other, to find a sort of comfort zone. Poor Helen just doesn't seem to know how to make or understand food without pork. Great feel to the story,
Take care,
Rhonda
