After a silence, he let go of her hand, "I'm done," and began to walk away. - Yes Anderson, keep going while you're still in your right mind.
Well if you're gonna get yourself kidnapped, going with a zillionaire ain't to shabby. That said I so see shades of Paige in Shana. She is so inconsistent a character I want to slap her one (ugh). Anderson should have taken my advice, and got while the getting was good. Of course this would be a very short read. Not sure I'd want that.
Well thanks again for giving me another aggravating and engaging read. LOL

I already got the impression from the first chapter I read, the last one, that this man is quite wealthy.Of course this is fiction so such things you are writing about could happen but I don't think there are many wealthy knights in shining armor around.

I am intrigued and enjoyed the beginning of the story. I also like romances with suspense. I hope to follow the story, I don't normally read them because of my eyes not great, but I believe I am hooked.
Well done

Well now, I remember downloading this several days ago, but am surprised to see I hadn't reviewed it. A good chapter, Barbara. Shana has a lot of the same characteristics as your last character, vis-a-vis, men, though it's a little early to say that: she has every right to be distrusting of someone wanting to take her to his home. I do like this plot, though. Sounds like it's going to be loaded with intrigue as well as romance.

I am hoping Shana comes off softer than Soni, but capable of being strong when need be. Thank you for the kind review.

So far the book has been interesting so you have my attention. I will be glad to read more of the book. You talk about a dog but I didn't read about one so I assume it is coming. =} I do like dogs better than cats. I'm allergic to them. Hope you have a good Thanksgiving. Rox

Shana is a traditional Jewish female name. Thank you for the kind review.

Oh my, indeed! I never had rich men come to my aid! Oh, well, too late now. I know I'm being a doubting Thomas, but I still wonder about him. He is probably a real knight in shining armour, we will soon see. Those three men, they obviously know who Shana is, and what she's after, but how? The plot thickens, and it's very intriguing! Excellent writing, Barbara, and it's looks like it's going to be a wonderful book! :) Sandra xx

I understand Shana being in this position. It's hard to trust this guy, but I think he's the only shot she's got to get away from the ones following her. A good fake out and a good reason to get close to her if he's attracted to her, which I think he is.
