Congratulations! I'm sure you had so much fun putting this together after you'd each finished your Christmas stories. And I'm sure you will never forget this experience. Well done. I'm sure you will sell loads, and just in time for Christmas! Well done to each of you! :)) Sandra xx

Annmuma,
Congratulations of the published book. I bet you and the others had a great time (or not) writing with these other authors from fan story. Enjoy the fruits of your collaborated labor.

You have shown us that it can be done if you have a great leader like Terry who will drive the project to completion! That's so wonderful! I bought the book as soon as Terry posted about it. I didn't know about the videos so thank you for telling us. Just as we did with Terry's book last Thanksgiving, we'll do some reading of your collaborative book this Thanksgiving!

Dang it Ann, this post deserves a one for all those lies you told about me. One the other hand, I congratulate you on the accuracy of your descriptions of our writing partners.
What a hoot! What a fun year. Made all the better with you, Lee, Jay and the Big Dog! A special public thank you.
Here is a secret only FanStory members will know about. When people visit our website, please know it was developed and designed by a talented young man, named Clay.
When you read Ann's story, The Christmas Gift, it is fiction. But it's based on how Clay became Ann's grandson. It's a wonderful story.

Finally, it's not pick on Lee Day?
Every stew needs a stirrer. I know I can be, and often am, a pain in the caboose. But there's a certain amount of value in that. Besides, once in a while I'm right. You know I took on the Devil's Advocate role in order to bring conflict into our story--every good story needs conflict.
But I never argued just for the sake of argument.
I totally agree that Terry cooked this bird. But each of us brought a lot to the table. I liken Terry to the gravy. Smooth and engulfing. I'm the hot sauce one might drizzle into the gravy--a few drops goes a long way.
Yes, Ann, it's been almost a year since we embarked on this odyssey.
If you look at all the decisions we had to make during that time, I'd say we came away unscathed. We can all claim ownership, and rightly so.
Would I do it again? With the same talented group? Sure. As long as I get top billing again. Hey, I yam what I yam.
Good stuff, Ann.
Peace, Lee

What a delightful read about how your book came to life! I loved hearing about Terry's unstoppable enthusiasm leading the charge. The book sounds like a heartwarming treasure. Your passion for the project shines through and makes me want to grab a copy and settle in with some hot chocolate. Wishing you continued success!

Indeed, it would have been an amazing undertaking I'm a bit of a lone wolf, I don't even enter writing contests these, because of their ambiguity issues, and the current trends, beautifully written and good, and I've got to read all of you over the years, good writers all, well done, blessings Roy

Congratulations on your success, it is an achievement, as I am discovering myself. It is a book that sounds interesting, Christmas stories are always fun and to find new ideas in the great hall of the holiday is refreshing. My book will be coming out in March from Westbow press. It is a big book, and I have been working with them for about 7 months now. A big editing job. But it is in design now and should be all set for spring. estory

You have done a great job of promoting this book and I can imagine there will be a lot of them sold. I have the Kindle version of it and so far I've only read Lee's Christmas stories but before Christmas I plan to read them all. The hard copies will make great Christmas gifts. You mentioned cost and how many places the book is being sold so apparently you had publishing help getting it out there. I put two books on Amazon last year, but mind didn't cost anything since I did it all. I guess the cost you mentioned was to get in on all that sites to sell. It might be worth it because mine in only on a couple of sites and I have to do my own promotion.
