Sounds like a good idea. Just probably when she gets through the episodes of chemotherapy they will have a reception like no other they have been to...

Thank you for reading this. I appreciate.

As an exercise in writing an epilogue this is great stuff. Congratulations on doing something you had no intention of doing and doing it quite superbly.

Thank you. I still have a few upset reviewers. LOL

LOL you are a trip. Well, that's one way of getting out of it. Blame it on the characters. I gotcha. That was very clever. Even though, I too complained. You have the right to end your story as you see fit. It was a great story. Hope Katherine and Gabriel live happily ever after...and cancer free.

LOL Another epilogue may be coming, but don't know.

It's like an emptiness sets in after characters we've grown close to are gone, or on to a new chapter in their lives. But not everything is permanent in life, so I'm figuring that you'll find a reason to carry on the story. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

Sometimes no epilogue is best .That way the reader can imagine the continuation as per his/her fancy .Of course we will honour their privacy and we will be here if and when they want to share their life with us.

Yes, I too was hoping for an epilogue to see how they are going. That's because they seemed such real and authentic people, friends. I will wait patiently until the right time for them to share how they are. Thank you!! I am sure everyone enjoyed their story which you brought to life.

This is a clever way to address the request of writing an epilogue. As writer's, I think we perfect our craft through the experience of the stories we tell. I appreciate you sharing that your character's guide you to the end.

I appreciate the epilog and appreciate the character's wishing to be left alone. It is time for such. No doubt for the family to get to know each other. As always, I have enjoyed your stories.

-Nice artwork, barbara.
-This came as a big surprise.
-It just shows how well you
did with the book because we all loved it.
-Hopefully, Gabe and Katherine will
work things out. They are wonderful
characters, along with the children and their
friends and co-workers.
-Good luck with whatever you decide to do.
-Until then, I will look forward to their future.

Now I am wondering if I missed the last chapter. I know it was slotting itself into position for an ending, but I wasn't aware that it had arrived yet. Obviously, it has. I for one will honor the couple's request for privacy, leaving them with a grateful thank-you for including me in the private moments that led up to the ending. Their lives have become a part of me, and I have grown by sharing them. I shall await the epilogue, if it comes.
