You make it sound easy Roy, first the words of rhyme then the tune. That takes talent and obviouslypassed that around to your kids. What a great family share. I watched a combo of a classic ensemble and didgeridoo music this morning that was great. Have a good weekend Roy.

I love that the poem takes the reader through the artist's journey, not only of the song writing and career aspect, but also of the writer's life. The influence of poetry is twofold in this poem: it is shown in both the beauty of the language as well as telling the effects it had on the writer's life.

What a beautifully written poem. It has a great flow and rhyme scheme. What an amazing story. You overcame so much. You are so talented in your poetry and also write songs. You've done great things. I love guitar as well my sons gave me one four years ago I wanted to learn I can get the chords but can't strum right. Threw it down again. But I am going to pick it up again. All the best Roy. I enjoy your poems.

I enjoyed reading your rhythmic poem about writing music. I can relate to part of your musical story since I was from a musical family. My 2 sisters and I performed concerts at various churches. We had a pianist who accompanied us. I also became a church musician. I enjoyed the poem AND your notes detailing the history of your musical family. You have been mightily blessed.
