WOW! That was bonza! Not that I understood all of it as I read, but the Aussie Dictionary at the end helped heaps. I've seen a Texan dictionary. Maybe you should compose one for those of us who are lost when hearing your own fair tongue. :)

Well, Roy, I have to say I knew several of these, and kinda figured out several more from context. Then several were just to dang weird, but fun to read. I enjoyed reading this. Your image is perfect. Thanks for the notes, too. I like how you wrote a little story to include these idioms in context.

Wow! What a lot great list of Aussie idioms, Roy! Loved it. Appreciate the mini-dictionary in the notes. It sounds so fun and folksy and the language has such delightful tones! I knew about the Billabong (from Waltzing Matilda) and you taught me "fair dinkum" !
