My older sister died of Covid last year. She caught it before the vaccine came out. Perhaps she would still be here if the vaccine had been available at that time. Who knows? My other two sisters and I are all vaccinated, including the booster shot. I know so many who refuse to get the shot but that is their choice and I don't hold it against them. It's their body and their lives.

I thought you did another great job in this little piece, and here you wove in so many of the frustrations and angst that we all have experienced with the epidemic and the vaccinations. My sister almost imagined herself sick with worry over getting that vaccine, that I had absolutely no side effects from. Another seemingly effortless and very amusing round up of events. Your life appears to be an endless source of material, and I have developed a certain sympathy for Chuck, who often gets on the wrong side of you pen.

Hmm, I wonder does Chuck know he is FanStory famous? I kind of understand him, many people had phobias and fears of the vaccine. It was new and rushed. The virus itself is relatively new to the world. People fear what they do not know or understand.

My daughter (age 32) is feeling better, though she's lost her sense of taste and smell.

Thousands die every year from the flu and pneumonia, yet there's no mandate to take the shot. It's an option. The mandate should go across the board. But I do like your story and pray your family...vaccinated and non-vaccinated, are doing fine.

Before the vax, I had Covid twice, and reacted to the spike proteins in the second vax. I was in bed, unmoved, for three days after my second dose of the Moderna vaccine.
My sister had Covid recently and took the Ivermectin protocol and was well in three days. She's an anti-vaxer. She paid out of pocket as her insurance didn't cover it, around $300. Something's up on the pig farm if this treatment is not mentioned more often as a viable option for Covid. I think the government and the powers that be, want the control and the fear. Fear is mighty powerful.
