This is a great story, well written. I'm amazed at your persistence with Mary in asking her to give her life to Jesus. I could sense the urgency of knowing she was near the end of her life on earth. Touching story. Thanks for sharing. Blessings. Carol

Thanks Carol for your reading and reviewing. Your kind words remind me of how close "Mary" came to missing heaven and how much of a difference we make when we mind God.

God's promptings are often critical, and His timing is perfect. It's good you obeyed. Have a blessed week.

Likewise.

Thank you for going back into the archives and reading what was a very moving, God story for me. I have been on FanStory since 2014 and these events happened several years before that. I never wrote about it in FanStory, thinking that it might offend some people. But the affirmation I have received encourages my heart. I have to say WOW to the six stars, thanks. Thank you very much. God bless you

I can honestly say that there has never been a bigger thrill in life than leading a lost soul to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and savior. I'm sure as chaplain you have seen about everything, but I'm sure the rewards are worth the struggles. Thanks for sharing your fine story and best of luck in the contest!

I am sorry I do not have six stars for this story. Truly you must feel so joyful when you succeed in bringing someone like Mary back to God. This is but one of your fold. I am sure from your perseverance displayed here that this has happened many times. So well written and well done.
Bless you!

Persistence truly can be rewarding and I feel certain it triumphed in this instance. The Chaplain's faith too is inspirational. It really is a great story. I do have one question. Is the story in any way based on a factual event. It reads as credible.

This is a very moving story of the struggle people can have with faith when they question if God is there when terrible things happen. I hope Mary was able to make amends with her daughters before her death. I'm sure as a chaplain you have seen many horrors that has some people questioning God. Thank you for sharing yours and Mary's stories.

Thank you so much for taking the time to read and review my true story of, "Saint Mary." I appreciate the five wonderful stars you gave me as well. As far as her reconnection with her daughters, it has been a number of years ago when this took place, but I?m quite sure there was a real genuine reconnection. God bless you. #EmbraceTheLoveFromAbove

Gripping story, stunning narration. I don't blame Mary for hating God, even on general principle of evil in the world--sounds like she accepted Jesus out of fear of hell, yet ended up finding peace. This may be a winner.

The story was interesting. I could her reason for not trusting God or anyone else for that matter. At least towards the end of her life, the chaplain helped her to release her pain she held for so many years. Good Luck in the contest.

How wonderful. Not only that she came to Jesus in the last week of her life, but that you were so patient, so wise and understanding and so caring towards her, sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. This must have given you so much joy , as well as her family. What a blessing.
