Touching, sincere and well penned. This is a fine tribute, dear. He is so much appreciated and missed. RIP. I love the overtone of compassion and sympathy for his wife in this post. A fine contribution to this book.

This is a neat send up for Bob, Pearl. his interaction with several Fanstorians has made a big difference in their writing and their confidence to take bigger chances with it.

This is a lovely poem, Pearl. You also chose a sweet and touching photo. You have expressed your personal thanks and gratitude.
It's a blessing that you remember his family in your poem, in the touching way that you do. It is remarkable to me that a man who suffered so much for lack of love in his youth, should be so willing to give it in his role as husband, father, and grandfather. That has to be from the grace of God.
We wanted him to pull through his illness, but it was not to be. May he rest in peace, in the arms of the Savior.

You're very welcome, Pearl. Yes, Bob will be missed by many.
I love your photo, in your profile picture. I'm wondering who the famous lady might be, depicted in the statue seated on the bench. My husband and I went to Boston about six years ago, and had some fun taking photos with one of the oversized bronze statues there.
In your photo with the bronze lady, you look as though you're really getting to know her!
God bless you. Love, Mary Kay xoxo

This is a beautiful tribute to a good friend. I did not know him well, but well enough to respect his art and his gentle ways. Thank you for sharing this lovely piece. I can tell the words came straight from your heart.

This is a lovely tribute to Mastery...filled with grace and sincerity. It is so sad when we lose someone like him, but I have faith that he is with God, who will give him a golden pen to write of Heaven's glories.

-Nice image, Valda.
-You wrote a very nice
tribute, and Mastery
would be very pleased.
-I like how you show his
character and appreciation
of family, and having
courage to face obstacles,
as well as helping others.
-You have written a poem, but
it is listed at fiction; if you want
it on poetry, go to 'Community'
"Ask Us" and let Tom know. He
is the only one who can change it.
-Thanks for sharing your tribute.

Thanks Pam for reading and for letting me know that, I shall look into it. Valda

You are welcome, Valda. You can make the change yourself as long as it is in preview mode. Especially when adding to a book, look at how it is being posted first; I think it is default based on the last person who added to it.

You've written a beautiful tribute to a very talented and kind man. Though I've only recently returned to FanStory, I fondly remember the encouragement Mastery offered to me as I began to share my writing years ago. I will miss him!
