Mary Kay,This is so true. I was a fan of his and read all his books on line and bought one from him which he signed. I read a lot of his poetry too. He was a talentend writer in both genres. I wrote my own poem about him too. He was and encouraging reviewer too. He will be missed. He is probaly in a writing group with all the other fanstorians in Heaven.
Congrats on the honorable mention in the reviewing contest.

I am one of those Fanstory members who wasn't aware of Bob's illness and I'm saddened to hear of his passing. To me, Bob will always be remembered for his helpful suggestions and informed comment.

Hi, Bob. I'm so sorry that you are just now learning of Bob Hartson's passing. I was aware of his illness for at least several weeks before he passed away, and while I prayed that God would spare his life, I knew he was having a hard time with the diabetes, and I suppose his time had come. I was also very sad, as I had hoped he had more time left in this life. I admired the way he had overcome so much, in his lifetime. It's a blessing that he helped so many writers on this website. May He rest in peace with God.

Nary Kay, that truly is a beautiful reply. I too was fortunate to consider Bob a friend. He, probably more than anyone else on Fanstory encouraged my writing so maybe now with his Heavenly connections I should again seek his support in finding a publisher.
