I didn't realise I was that ill, Nancy. It was a shock to find out. I'll never dismiss what my body is trying to tell me in future, and I will take Graham's advise if he thinks I need to see a doctor. Thank you, my dear friend, for even thinking of me whilst you are in great pain. Love you always. Sandra xxx

You are a courageous trooper, Sandra, for all you've been through. You've always been like my younger sister. I'm feeling kind of protective now! We all love you here at FanStory and we don't want to ever be without your presence here. Or your presents here that you leave us just about every week! You spoil us with your gift-giving. This week we'll whine and snivel -- oh, but we'll be all right. Don't you worry about us! Besides, now you have some real, personal insight into Ann. However brief your experience of it was, you know intimately how Ann felt opening her eyes, "a stranger in a strange land".
In the meantime, just breathe and thank the good Lord for your delivery back to those who love you dearly. We expect to hear nothing but good news from you in the days and weeks ahead.

Aw, Bless your heart, Jay, thank you. I would enjoy being your sister. 🥰 You're right! I do know how Ann feels, I never thought of that. I'll be able to improve on that scene now, thank you! And thank you for your kind and caring words, my friend.
I'll be good and do what my family tell me, (for the first time!!) I need to get well. I'm not going to allow myself to get like this again. Thank you, my dear friend. Love and hugs, Sandra xx

I usually put a six stars on your wonderful post, but these six stars are for you, simply because we are sisters in Christ. I will continue to pray for your recovery. Please keep us posted. Sending love and prayers.

That is so sweet of you, Barbara! What a lovely thing to say, as well. I just know all your prayers helped my body fight all those viruses, and I'll never be able to thank you enough. Thank you for the six stars, and telling me the reason you gave it to me. Love and hugs, my dear friend. :) Sandra xx

Hello Sandra :)
I'm so glad to hear that you are out of hospital and are being looked after at home. It is certainly a good thing that your husband and son took matters into their own hands and delivered you to the hospital! You have really been through the mill of late and I wish you a very speedy recovery.
Lots of love, Debra x
As an aside, these strikes, whilst I understand why they're happening, are really benefiting nobody and are dangerous - some people don't have anyone to rely on in such a situation as yours. I hope an agreement on pay can be reached soon, so that 'normal' service resumes.

Thank you, Debra. It's been quite a journey.
I wish the Sunak would just let them have the money. They are the most deserving of all those others on strikes. They have been worked to the bone over the last three years, and clapping doesn't pay their bills, or help with the stress they are under.
You're right, if I hadn't had Graham and my son here making the decision to take me themselves, I might not be here now. Scary thought. But, it is happening to many families. I've heard of some horror stories of people dying when they shouldn't have.
Than you, Debra. Love and hugs, Sandra xx

Thank you, dear Ulla. I'm feeling like a washed out dishrag, and so tired. But I don't mind because I know I'm on the mend. Thank you for the golden star, my friend. Love and hugs. :)) Sandra xxx

God bless you, dear Sandra. God is never on strike, thankfully. He surely has watched over you despite the craziness. I'm glad to hear your home as hospital's aren't the best place for rest. I find them to be noisy and filled with interruptions. Thinking and praying for you until you are out of the woods.
Love and blessings always,

Thank you, Sal, you are so kind. It was rather noisy in hospital, but at first I was really out of it and didn't notice. That soon ended! Thank you, my friend, for your prayers, and love. And a big hug for the sixth star! Love you lots. Sandra xxx

Dear Sandra,
I am sending you all of my positivity and best wishes for a full recovery.
I am embarrassed to admit that I was not aware of your illness as I have been in and out of FanStory since Christmas.
You must have been so frightened and frustrated. Am sincerely hoping that you rebound and recover quickly.
Thank goodness for your son and husband!
Always,
diane

Thank you, Diane! Please don't feel embarrassed, we all have lives outside FS, and your kind words here are so sweet. I really appreciate them. You're right about my husband and son. I might not be here now had they not got me to the hospital. Thanks, my friend. Sandra xx

I am glad you are finally home from the hospital and feel the backing of your friends here on Fanstory. You sound like you have been through the wringer with the system of hospital health care knows no bounds of dysfunction, especially where I come from.
Thanks for checking in and I wish you the very best!

Thank you, John. Yes, it's not until we hear of everyone else's problems that we appreciate what we have. It's a bad time in the UK at the moment, and definitely not helped by our government. I was really lucky my husband and son took action when they did. Thank you, my friend. Sandra xxx
