You did a great job getting the characters talking back and forth in a natural way, even though it was hard for me to understand the Texas accent. It seems to me that it was implied that Mr. Albright was killed by Fanny's dad.

I'm looking forward to reading more.

Thank you, Lisa! Your six stars is certainly appreciated. Don't feel you need to reward me so if the dialect was that much of a stumbling block. It might be a tad overdone, but it's hard to draw the line when dealing with dialects. You are very kind, though.
