Well that was certainly a turn-up for the books at the end there. Another super instalment, great writing and intriguing plotting.

"Me? Flirting? Well, I must say, that's a case of the kettle calling the pot black, don't you think? - need closing speech marks here.

A very well-written chapter. It seems the uphold in continuing of the trip brought a surprise discovery at the end of the moulin rouge show when Helen recognize her sister Kayla among the dancers.

A virtual six, my friend, for another superb chapter in your brilliant book. What a turn-up at the end! I wonder how Kayla will feel when she sees her sister. Will it be a happy reunion? It will for Helen. Jeanne is safe in hospital, isn't she?? We never know with your plot, lol, it has such a lot of excitement. They plan on going to England, but will finding Kayla change all their plans? I guess I'm just going to have to wait. Superb as always, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

I sometimes wonder where this plot is going, too! Three chapters and I still haven't managed to get them on the blessed train to London! LOL

That happens with me and Veronica at times, but suddenly it all comes together and I wonder how!! I'm sure that's what's happening with your book, you can't rush things, the details have to add up at the end. Isn't it exciting? xx

Well, Tony, this is another engaging chapter. I intend to go back and reread, because I don't know, or just don't remember who Kayla is. She seems to be extremely important to the plot.
You stay true to your characters and the plot becomes more convoluted. Excellent job.

Thanks, Debbie. Kayla is Helen's sister. She escaped from Pakistan with Helen and they subsequently became separated in Bangkok. I appreciate your kind comments. Best wishes, Tony.

Thank you, Tony. I think that my brain was fried when I read this chapter. I was going to look it up. I suspected who she was, but wasn't sure. I am still going to reread parts. I do think that I missed a chapter or two at the beginning. It's too good a story to miss any of it.

What an interesting turn of events, Tony. I enjoyed reading this chapter. It is kind of light considering all the action that has previously taken place. I like the imagery around the show they attended. I hope Madame is still there in the hospital when they go to get her in the morning Good job and thanks for sharing. Jan

Good chapter once again. Very descriptive, had us right there on the scene. Just one suggestion.... electric, effervescent as (were) the champagne bubbles, was gonna suggest another "as" but felt that was repetition see what you think

Whew, what a lot happened in this post. I like how you had all the flirting as a kind of foreshadowing before le moulin rouge ! Somehow, I wondered if Kayla would be among the dancers so you must have dropped just the right amount of hints!

Thanks, Helen. Delighted that the hints are getting through without being too obvious! All the best, Tony.

It would be a marvellous thing indeed when a sibling found the long lost one, to rejoice in. I like the way you introduce the surprises to spice up the story's progress, which is an excellent way to pace the story, it stops the theme being bogged down. Well done Tony, excellent episode, blessings, Roy

This is a happy turn of events. What were the odds she'd find Kayla like this! I'm looking forward to what Kayla has to contribute to this story. Getting the Madame to London might prove to be more difficult than Charles expects.

A bit of a stretch of coincidence, I do cofess! However, I shall see if Kayla's story can help to make it more believable. LOL
I wonder how this will affect their decision to go to England?
