What a wonderful experience that will be! How lovely it must feel to be asked to do a 'Meet the Author' evening. That says you've arrived!! Now you'll be a recognised author and this could lead to other things. And you will probably sell loads of books. Signed, of course.
You'll be fine, Barbara! You are used to standing up in front of people, albeit 'little' people, lol. Just think of them as your students. I've never done one of those, only read my children's stories in schools. You will have to tell us how it went. Good luck! :)) Sandra xx

Congratulations! I've never had that honour, so I don't really know how to advise. I would just suggest: "Be yourself. Try to relax and enjoy. You have been given this honour because of the merit of your work!" Please let us know how it goes.

I'm happy for you! I've gotten to know a little bit about you these past few months so my advice is this-
You're an intelligent, well informed women author. Be positive and professional as I believe you always are.
Stay steadfast and strong and you'll be phenomenal!
Be sure to let us FanStory family members know how you fared!

You didn't mention where this is happening. There are few bookstores left. I believe we have one remaining in town. Libraries are a good place, as they attract the readers. They'll be a receptive group, and I'm sure they'll want to know where you get your ideas. A great opportunity for you. judi

I had copies of a couple of chapters to give out. Then the pertinent information of author and book info. Have good pen and copies of books. Enjoy and ask lots of questions. Let them ask you a lit of questions. Have fun and congratulations. Gretchen
