I enjoyed this chapter more than the last. I especially liked your consideration of hatred by both blacks and whites in 1929, and how they had to deal with it. Well, and succinctly, put.

Thank you for sharing your talent with us. I'm not quite sure how to review a scene from a script but this a well written and well presented. The dialogue is authentic and flows naturally. I look forward to reading the next post.

What awful people! You didn't know who to trust, and if you didn't trust them, they were beaten and had your family threatened until you said you did. The years after the slaves were given their freedom must have been hard of everyone. It had to happen, While slavery existed, the white people could not in all honesty call themselves Christians. And it's the same today. This is a great story, Jay, I'm just sorry I used all my sixes again. Well done!! :)) Sandra xx

Oh my! This plot gets thicker and thicker. You're doing a great job telling this story. I enjoyed the first part about the banks and the money. Seems a little like today. They just make more money that has no backing. I think it was a mistake when Nixon took us off the gold standard. Great job of writing.

Thank you, Barbara. I was afraid of the banking opening. It wasn't intended as padding. I certainly don't have a problem with words! I'm just happy it worked for you!
