This is a lovely poem of faith and hope in the certain reality of a caring heavenly Father. Your last stanza sums it up very well, and is a fitting climax. Fine writing.

What a blessing that we have peace and assurance in Jesus. I particularly loved:
"There is someone who comforts me,
who'll not desert, nor let me be.
In partnership I'm filled with dreams,
with no regrets - what might have been."

Hello Roy, your poem is so heartfelt and a poem of truth.

I especially liked:

(That's just what a loving Father does)

I also liked the saying on your artwork choice. It reminds me of
somthing that I say ... I don't like to look over my shoulder--that
certainly keep me on the straight and narrow.
