I am pleased to hear that you are healing well and have your next appointment soon and can test out the new lifts at the railway station with Louise. Thanks for the tip about packing items in ziplock bags in case of an ant attack. Keep up your walking routine--that's what keeps me going! Smiles- Joan

Thanks Joan for the great review. Had all this phoney money needed using up some. Hoping no more cancers. Looking forward to the new wound being like the old one, soon.

No sixes left in my coffers at this time in the week, I'm afraid.
Glad to hear that the cancer wounds are continuing to heal. Interesting to hear your comments about gluten-free products. Although neither my wife nor I need a gluten-free diet, sometimes our bed and breakfast guest do.
Ants can be difficult to get rid of. We've found the liquid product, AntRid, effective for internal use. We also use airtight plastic containers for the storage of cereals and other dry goods.

Thanks for the great review. Hope some new FS'ers have found you? Woolworths or is it Safeway down there still? Has taken over the 5% discount on Gluten Free Groceries from Coles or Bi Lo down there maybe? Started on the 5th March. You might tell Coeliac Australia you make provision for your Gluten-Free guests. Thanks again.

I wish you the best of health again and its so nice to hear from you again after a few days! Keep fighting the good fight, Sir! :-)

Oh, you head looks so much better. I'd thought I'd cry on the last one. I can relate to gluten free diet restrictions and gravitate towards a low sugar, zero gluten and zero oats diet. My favorite breakfast is eggs. I eat them every day. I also eat from grain free breakfast bars but they are pricey. Good though. For ants: Oranges and lemons.

Make a paste of one cup warm water and a few orange peel, which will help in getting rid of ants. Spread this paste around entry points of ants and wipe it afterwards. You can also place orange peels on the kitchen slab or wherever you think these ants may enter from. It acts as natural deterrent for ants that may not only keep them but also keep them away. Lemons do the same. I got this off the web, but my mother used this method. Smells wonderful. We were low on funds and had plenty of oranges living in Florida.
So glad you and Louise are going to give it a go and travel together on the railway. Save journeys, my dears. I wish Jackson and I lived nearby to take you!! Thinking of you both and praying still.

Glad to hear that the cancer wound is healing nicely as well as the graft site. That must be a lot to go through, with the radiotherapy treatment sessions. Your comments about the Gluten-free diet and cereal you found. It is hard to do without sugar. Interesting comment about how ants go after sugar in any form. No wonder they find many things to attract them at picnics. judi

Hi Geoff,

Thanks for your commentary and updates.

I have recently put my family on an anti inflammatory diet based on my husband's RA and my mother-in-law's diabetes. For me, I just want to be healthy.

I was glad to hear about some of you diet suggestions.

Take care,
Rhonda

Thanks Rhonda thought I needed to post again and use up some phoney money. Loved the review thanks.

I looked up the sugar substitute you mentioned, and it sounded good, but they don?t offer it in the US. Too bad, but I?ll be looking for it.

Rhonda, we can't get Brown Splendor or is it Splenda? here either. Logicane helps me not miss brown sugar so much. If you have any CSR products (an Australian Company - Colonial Sugar Refinery) maybe Logicane should be around someplace.
reply by davisr (Rhonda) on 07-Mar-2020
It?s called Splenda, but I didn?t know they made it in brown sugar. I?ll look into it. At least we do have choices, and that?s good.

Well it is nice to hear from you again. It does look like your head is healing nicely. It sounds as though your dietary requirements are complicated. I know it isn't good for me but I'm glad there is not reason other than needing to lose weight to keep me from having sugar.

I've noticed the wound is a little less gross, and a lot more affable for the eye. The ziplock bags are a great modern invention. In days long past the Antrid we got in a sickly syrup for was a lot more affective than this stupid powder, it seems it's a lot more ineffective. Well done Geoff, thanks for the update, blessings Roy

Thanks Bro Roy. We were having trouble with Ant rid too beside the mess it makes of places it is applied thanks for the lovely review. I forget if you are surburban Adelaide or rural like Tony Fawcus? How are you doing with the hoarders? Might write a poem about the current goings on. I have said it before I am glad God is in control, Bro. Appreciate the review.

    Suburban that?s me, Elizabeth way,

Calvary Baptist in Elizabeth was started by an American Missionary. Our former pastor was pastor there (Adelaide bloke too Welsh/English origins) for some years before he came to our church. Elizabeth is kinda rural though isn't it? the Airforce base still there?
reply by royowen on 06-Mar-2020
not really rural, maybe back in the 50s or 60s
reply by the author on 06-Mar-2020
Yeah Adelaide has probably grown out ro Elizabeth. Were the Adelaide Hills rural in the old days? Mt Lofty and all that?
reply by royowen on 06-Mar-2020
    They still are really Geoff
