Well written. This may look short, but it provides all the needed information to fully understand everything. Life comes full circle and it seems does driving.

Thanks friend. Are you the old Lancelot that was one of my earliest reviewers probably nearly 7 years ago? Have you only just returned? Pretty sure there is another Lancelot with extra to their name here now. If you are that person I have remembered you in the Acknowledgement page of "The Little Dog That Wouldn't Let Go" still unpublished as yet.

Well done. The write is simple, straight forward and honest. Also brave. I love that you remain so positive in the face of difficulty and remember your adventures with such happiness. Blessing - DJ

Praise the Lord, Bro an old Hippy about 50 years past that time bought the car yesterday. They went to get more cash and his friend that brought him along lost his card in the ATM. He is coming back today with the rest of the cash. I started posting about it at Tom's editing time and I lost it.(Midnight for you guys...just before tea/supper time here. Groan!) Thanks for the great review mate.

I had to give up my car for medical reasons. I have to depend on others to drive me around. I commend you on your courage to realize Age is now the name of the game.

It's good to know yourself and when to throw in the keys. My grandpa is in his eighties. I don't think he drives much but I know he still drives. It's a hard thing to do but I'm glad you knew when to.

Thanks mate. Yeah well with all the road rage and fuel costs it was kind of an encouragement to stop as well as needing more driving tests as I got older. Appreciate your lovely review thanks. Have a possible buyer coming today.

Hi Sankey, yeah, I can see why you would give up the car all together. I'm sorry you both have so many health problems. My only concern is. How do you get food and other daily needs for you both? All the best. Ulla:)))

I might need to post about that. I am cleared for transport to the doc or for group shopping but I am managing myself including getting grocery deliveries on a bigger scale as needed. Thanks for the lovely review. IN case I missed it hoping to get a buyer for the car today.

Well, good luck in selling it. Yeah, I think it would be good to cover the shopping issue. I can't be the only one who has been wondering. :))

OK I will work on it later today. Sasha has been my inspiration for all these rambles.

This is another very well written post about why you nor Louse drive anymore and your vehicle. I have not driven in quite a while myself due to the MS. Tom is the only one that drives for now in our family. Thank you for the nice pictures. May God bless you and Louise. Teri

I know the decision not to drive had to be hard, but necessary one. I am hoping my husband can make the decision in the future. He has seizures and can't drive for three months after he's had one, but then you never know when the next one will be. Again, thank you for sharing.

Hi Sankey. I am in a similar position. I have not been able to drive for eight years and will never drive again. Seizures, syncope and strokes. I did however recently purchase a scooter that will fold itself up to put in the car and reassemble once needed. Luckily my hisba

Hi friend, year it was a hard decision initially but I have accepted it now with all the road rage and fuel prices and all that. I might have a buyer today. Not from FS of course hehe.

A very well-written heartfelt story. I also gave up my car a few months ago not because I cannot drive anymore but the cost of constant repairs and maintenance got too high to manage. My daughter is no my taxi driver. Lol.

Yes I can't cope now with constant driving tests and the road rage that seems to have increased since I quit driving, Thanks for coming by.
