Hi Barbara, this is a lovely chapter, but I should be really angry with as you've left me hanging. How the security has been breached is beyond me. Well, I'll have to wait and see. Very well written. All the best. Ulla:)))

An excellent post again. I'm glad to see that the relationship between Shana and Anderson is still progressing forward. Although she's perhaps by nature a distrusting person, perhaps there soon will be some movement in that direction too.
Otherwise it might turn too stilted and not that credible to the reader.

Anderson's security is so tight, I find it strange that someone possibly got through it. Now we have to wait until the next post to learn exactly what has happened. Poor Shana, she obviously is filled with fear and conflict over her feelings for Anderson and how her father will react if he suspects she may be interested in pursuing a relationship with Anderson. Yes, King Lear was not her best choice in bedtime reading. Excellent work with this chapter and, hopefully, by the time you post the again, I will finally have my glasses. I have an appointment with my doctor this afternoon for the 'exam'... I can hardly wait.

Now that was a cliff hanger, for sure! I liked how Anderson insisted on making the dinner, I don't have that problem, I let my husband do the cooking! lol. Whoever has turned the lights off, must know about all the security he has, Hmm, this could be really interesting. Well done, my friend. Another wonderful part. :) Sandra xx

Thank you for the kind review. I used to do all my families cooking, then I had breast cancer and during chemo I just didn't have the energy. I continued to work full time through it. My guys took over the cooking duty. Now, that I'm recovered and back to normal, whatever that is after cancer, my husband and I share cooking duties. He does it every other day.

You are amazing! To have continued working through all that. I've see the effects of chemo through my daughter-in-law who is still going through it. I think it's nice that your husband continues to help with the cooking. Mine loves to cook, so who am I to argue! :)) xx

Good morning, Barbara
Enjoyed the post. I like how you continue to reveal various aspects of each character's personality, philosophy es and mind set and to not only show their level of commitment but to create a thorough understanding of what they must overcome to see their efforts come to fruition. Well done.
Take care and stay safe,
Ray

Oh, no! Just as he's checking on security someone cuts the electricity. Or maybe Shana plugged too many appliances into one outlet. You'll make me wait to find out what happened. I should remove four stars for that! :)

Any time the lights go out, it's not a good thing whether something is up or not. Thanks for sharing another fine chapter, and I'm looking forward to the conversation with Benjamin. Great chapter. :-)

Good job of leaving us in suspense and wanting more. Yes, wrong book indeed. I must say how much I agree with this statement: "That's a sad statement about our society." Well written chapter, my friend~Debbie

Hello Barb
What I really liked was the conversation between Shana and Anderson ex.
when Anderson said, "You don't trust me, yet, do you?" (when he grabbed Shana' s for some reason to me was not right!
And again you are very good knowing when to leave us readers hanging
