Sounds exciting for you. I used to have a canon and I took some pretty good pictures with it, but professional photographers could tell that it wasn't totally professional

First off, it's really good to see that you're writing again. Second, I never knew you were a photographer of sorts. I can't take a good picture to save my life. I either shake or cut a head off or a body in half. Never fails. This was great. Gretchen

I was really glad when 35mm cameras came out. I took many pictures, but it was still during special occasions. My daughter, using her phone, and all sorts of enhancing filters, takes pictures of everything, all the time. I wish I had more pictures of myself and husband in the 1960s, 70s, 80s and 90s. I will be standing by waiting for your future posts.

Between my parents stuff and my own, I probably have just about every type of camera and don't use any of them anymore. So sad because it was fun when I did take pics of everything. I am thrilled to hear you are having so much fun.

I long for the days of the Polaroid. That was the only one I could use. Neither my late husband nor I could use a digital camera, and we both had one! My relatives take pictures on their cell phones all the time, so I at least get to see family pictures. I'm glad you wrote about your new one, and I hope you enjoy it. Photography is a wonderful hobby. It must be great to travel, now that you have your Metro system. Enjoy, and write more soon. judi

Thanks Judi, I have put heaps of stuff up on Youtube. As I said a reason I have skipped FS posting for ages. Can't decide where to start. In our local area a railway station is being transformed to accommodate a Metro system that will provide a connection with our new airport that is due to open soon. Stick around.

Photography has come a long way through the years. I remember the old box cameras. Mom still has hers. Thank you for sharing and taking us through the history of cameras. I enjoyed the trip.
