I would like to see Cordero and Ali together. Perhaps he is lying low until he can win her heart.

Well, that answers some lingering questions as to why Alan wanted a woman like Alexandra. It didn't make sense before but we all can understand the desire for more money. (naturally it raises more questions, but I'm sure you know what those are.) Well done.

Only the second chapter I've read and I've come late to the party, but I like Ali already. Sounds like romance is in the air with Cordero (someone to bounce all this off of whom she can trust!), and an ally in Joseph.

I couldn't believe I was done reading the chapter so quickly, lol!

I don't think Alan is going to take what Ali handed him without retribution. Hopefully he won't get together with Pat. This is a great suspense story, and you haven't had to kill anyone.

I'm a little surprised that Ali was upset about Alan since she doesn't care for him anyway. However, even if you wanted someone like that out of your life, it would hurt to know someone you thought cared about you, and then found out you were only being used I'm enjoying the story.
