Hi, Barbara
This is a very strong chapter which elaborates on the internal relationships involved in this mystery, romance. I think it shows how lovingly and closely connected Shana is with her extended family. Another trait I admire about everyone involved is that they do not BS each other. Very strong dialogue which shines throughout. Once again Anderson comes through as a really stand-up guy.

Anderson has proven to be a very patient man, so part of me (that would be the male part) feels like grabbing Shana and telling her to snap out of it.
I love how you bring this battle between faith and love to the front.
Great job!

Thank you for the kind review. I think Shana wants to snap out of it but is afraid she'll be disowned and family is very important in her life.

I am glad your marriage is working perfectly. I happen to know of some that have a few glitches. I think it depends on the upbringing and the people involved. Thank you for the kind review.

Hello, :)
I found some typos and have suggestions:
Shana took time to study her father's face, next her momma's (how about mother's), and finally (comma) she went into her grandma's arms, as tears welled in her eyes. After she sat, Anderson leaned (bent down, leaned seems wrong) to her. I'll attach ( (assign) security guards to you.
I wonder if they will get together. I'll have to wait.
Take care,
Nome

I just made the corrections. I needed to make them and not make bigger mistakes. Thank you for the help.

Hi, Barbara. This is another engrossing chapter in Your heroine's adventures. This paragraph defintely is telling of the character:
"Anderson knelt to her level. "The last thing I want is to hurt you. I want you to understand that at any time you want or need to return to Illinois, I won't hesitate to fly you back. I'll attach security guards to you. You have your freedom.
Good job, my friend. Bob

Oh, this is very interesting! I feel drawn into this book already like I've known the characters for a while. Anderson seems to be very much in love with Shana, but the Jewish/Gentile issue stands before them, or so he thinks.
I am not quite sure why there is a manhunt for Shana, is it because of her family's painting she is trying to get back? I guess it was stolen by the "bad guys" who are after her.
I am optimistic about Shana/Anderson's relationship. He seems to be her knight in shining armor.
A great chapter. Looking forward to more.

Thank you for the kind review. The painting was stolen by the Nazis, then by the Russian when they invaded Berlin during WWII and now it in the hands of Russian Mafia. This painting got around. LOL

Your dialogue flows so naturally I can just about see them talking. It's great.
Your descriptions are also great. I found no errors or typos and I have no suggestions for improvement.
Now I'm wondering what Shana is going to decide!
All the best,
Jan

So here's another segment of this enjoyable piece! Anderson may not be Jewish, but he's a mensch! And a dish! I'm having a good time reading this. You have a good touch with dialogue.

I know Anderson is only fictional, but I wish there were more of him around. Thank you for the kind review.
