This is a thoughtful poem, Roy. Our identity is in Jesus, who made us and gave us eternal life. I like the first couplet of the second stanza, especially 'He bathes you in His grace and light.' A nice Rispetto with good rhymes and great rhythm. Blessings. Carol

Yes, God has a plan for each of us. He knew us before we were born. BUT! He gave us each our own free will, that's what gets us into trouble. If we follow God's guidance for us we will return to Him in heaven. Thank you for sharing this inspired poem with us.

God created each of his in his own unique way and blessed us if only we followed his plan. We set our children free to follow their own path too...and hope that they not forgotten where their light comes from.

We all were wonderfully created in the womb by the love and grace of God, and we should all enjoy life and know that our identity will remain that which God would have to be. Patricia.

Roy, I love this form.
Simple with a natural structure that lends itself to deep thoughts in a short space, without the constraint's of a haiku, it has the time to better illustrate the message of the words.

I feel like the people of the world at present are struggling with their identities. Some don't even know what sex they are. My plain talking niece said it so well. "Just look in you pants!" Even a child understands identities. In Christ, we identify with Him: His life, death, resurrection and second coming. We identify with those who are a part of the body, His bride, the church.
Beautiful wee poem with an important message for today.
