Hello Rhonda,
Miracles to happen. And Wayne is proof. "He's a walking, talking, eating, joking, miracle!!" He will still have challenges ahead, but will and determination are the equal of challenges. And the power of belief and prayer is a mighty force. Some people are born tough. It seems both you and Wayne share that and many other things in common.
Best wishes, thoughts, hopes and prayers.

Hi Robert,
Thank you so much for reviewing this chapter and boosting its category!!! What a great gift!!!
Wayne is definitely made of stern stuff, but even he gets frustrated. He wants his body to do more than it's ready for, but at least he's trying!!!
Thanks again,
Rhonda

Hi Rhonda,
It's very nice to meet you. I was a newbie when Wayne had his stroke, but I saw all the beautiful poems that these other great writers were doing for you two.
Your story is very well written. God gives us miracles all the time and I'm glad he blessed you two in the way that he did. Great story and I'm glad Wayne is back to his old self.

Hi Ric,
Thank you for the review and comments!! Most appreciated. You are so very right about the farm boys!!! They are their own breed of folks, that's for sure. I was raised a city girl, but have learned what they are like. We was fortunate to have been found in time and whisked off to parts unknown where he got the help he needed.
Take care,
Rhonda

Yes, I've trying to keep up with your journey through others, and it certainly was fortunate your son was there and knew what to do. I'm glad Wayne is on the improve!

Thank you so much. I think next week I'll go back to my fantasy story. This reality is hard stuff, lol.

There are a million little miracles happening all around us every day and how many of us even realize it? This incredible turn of events with Wayne's stroke from near vent-dependent to thrashing like a wild bull (in the best possible way)--is indeed everything all of us could pray for and I am so pleased you've updated us and (as I am reviewing this on Tuesday) --I imagine he is on his way home right now--if not settled in at home!)
SO many things aligned to get him the medical attention he needed, and I've shared the story of the downloaded app with a lot of people since you shared that with us!
Congratulations on a new lease on life for Wayne! Prayer is very powerful and Wayne is a fine example of that!

Thank you for the lovely review, Karenina! You're right on the miracles constantly around us, and how most go unnoticed, but, sometimes, God just show's off. This was one of those times, and I've got my husband back!
Yes, he's in and settled. Still a bit disoriented, wobbly and has a massive headache, but it will all pass away.
I'm glad you've share about the Ap. I know people feel it invades their privacy, but that's outweighed by a life being saved.
Hugs,
Rhonda

I am so relieved and grateful that Wayne continues to make progress Rhonda. Prayers are continuing!

What a heartwarming story of resilience in the face of adversity. I was a registered nurse for many years so I am very aware of the complications a stroke can cause.
I wish you and your husband a full recovery for him and a long and healthy time together

Hi Tim,
Thank you for weighing in on this story!! I was hoping people from our medical community would. Wayne is well aware of the bullet he dodged. There were people in his rehab facility who experienced a less severe stroke, but who had lost their mobility. Many weren't even trying to get better. They had accepted their new situation. Wayne is still fighting, and as he's still under the one month umbrella of the stroke still resolving, he's resolute on getting as much mobility as he can.
Thank you, again, Tim.

This was wonderful, I am so happy to hear that he is fine and was not left in a debilitated state, these things are common and very scary. He was very lucky.

Hi Joann,
Thank you for blessing this chapter with six stars. Wayne and I are so very thankful for the miracle we received. It was, and is, a reminder of just how human we are and how important each moment is.
Take care,
Rhonda

Thank you so much, Jacob. It's been quite a journey, but it has a better outcome than many others have had.
I've enjoyed reading your chapters, lol. Great diversion!

May the heavenly hosts and all on Earth who care, raise a shout of joyful praise. Once more the God of life has bestowed the gift of life upon one deserving of enjoying the continuance of life. You, your entire fame and host of friends deserve to enjoy this wondrous miracle. May God be eternally blessed for his mercy.

Thank you so much, Nolan, for this marvelous review, and for the six stars!
For Wayne, he's been given a second chance. He's been a smoker most of his life. He's been without it 13 days tomorrow. If he's smart, he'll continue the trend.
Hugs,
Rhonda

One of the blessings from God that I enjoy is his mercy when it comes to my poor use of grammar and spelling

Praise be to God! I am so thankful for this miracle. It makes nonsense of all the fuss and bother right now in our country. God knew you needed Wayne a bit longer. God is on His throne and ruler over all. Survived is misspelled but a six anyways. Thanks for sharing. Esther

Hi Esther,
Thank you so much for the beautiful six stars!! Sorry it's taken so long to get back. You can fully imagine how hectic these last few days have been.
God, definitely, gets the praise of this one. I don't care who a person is, whether they believe it's all coincidence he's gotten well, or that it is a God Thing, they have to admit it's beyond rare. I'm glad to be a part of the group that knows Who is responsible for the God Bless,
Rhonda

Hello Rhonda
I have read your accounts and many of the other submissions regarding Wayne. I am very happy to hear how he is doing. From your description it sounds as though he wants to get back in a hurry and that appears to be his nature. One of the greatest elements to survival is the will to survive. You and your family want him to survive, and he wants him to survive. There is little news that could be better than that. I am very pleased to hear of his progress. You have done an excellent job with your writing and your clear descriptions.
God bless you, and God bless Wayne,
Robert

Hi Robert,
Thank you so much for the heartfelt and intuitive review, my friend. His nature is to be a fighter. He's had debilitating RA for the greater part of his life, and yet he walks and runs a farm. Fighting back is all he knows how to do. But, between you and me, there were times when I heard his prognosis that I doubted he could fight back from this. I'm just grateful he did.
Thank you for the blessings,
Rhonda
