This poem, Master Class, reminds us of the immortality we can achieve with our published work. We can visit Bob's alter ego or his childhood whenever we need that inspiration. Nice job, ,Judi

Thanks so much for your review and comments. You first have to get it published, which I've yet to do. To his credit, Bob had several published books. judi

This is a lovely tribute to Bob and all the wonderful stories he shared with us. I think for all of us, Falling up the stairs, his story was one we won't forget, and I will miss Cleve and Mo. Nice one,
cheers

This is such a sweet and heartfelt tribute to Mastery. I had only known him for a couple of months, and I wish I knew him better. His reviews were always great to receive, and he always encouraged me to do what I didn't think I could do. You are right, Great Writers never die.

Once again a beautiful tribute to such a unique, fantastic, original word smith...
As I wrote in a previous review I was influenced and in awe of his words of wisdom....

Hi Judi,
Thanks for writing this. I have been thinking of writing a tribute, too. Your poem is perfect. I reviewed most chapters of "Falling Up The Stairs", and all his books. I often thought about Cleve, the PI whose current case is ...suddenly in limbo. No wedding bells for Mo. Characters like Deckle, so real, so needy, won't have Bob to continue in those "Outer Limits".
I was so sad when Brooke passed away. She was such a talented poet. Dean Kuch was another poet I miss. Now Bob joins them.
My favorite lines,
"Our favorite writers never die.
They live inside their books."
Nicely penned, Judi!
Hugs,
Kimbob

What a wonderful tribute to Mastery/Bob. He was great, wasn't he and he took time for others. His mannerisms showed in his writing. He did indeed create a fantastic character in Cleve. I actually followed 'Falling Up the Stairs' and got a signed copy from him. I like you treasure this book. Well done. Very much enjoyed.

Kudos, Judi!
Bob is smiling!
I appreciate how you share with readers not only his creative novels, but elements of his life, his loss, and his caring for others.
A beautiful tribute rendered by another master.
Thank you for sharing!

Very true. If you want to lean the art of writing novels or complex stories or just how to construct a story, look to Bob's works. Everything you need to learn and better your writing are right there. I remember he would always tell me. (always because I was stubborn). "Subject first, then dialogue." Why? Because in real life, you see the person speaking to you, before you hear and take in their words.

Thanks so much for your review and comments. I always liked the way Bob could bring in atmosphere in his stories, and he even brought life to the incidental characters. like a waitress in a restaurant. judi

This is wonderful and so true, Judi. Our friends are alive in their books and I guess that is why we write. I hope I live long enough to publish. I will be on the eternal flame site. Good Job. Nancy
