In this gentle part chapter, we get to see Phillip explain to Emily how a slingshot was made and how it worked.
There is obviously some envy about Drew Sharp's wealth that should not be expressed in front of a child with swear words.
A helicopter might be coming into land, but who could it be?

Philip leaned against the door jam. "Yes. Our hope is once he understands that our interest is only in the painting, he'll give us the painting and realize we have no interest in his business." (nothing is that easy.)

That sounds like trouble to me, the helicopter flying low can only mean one thing! I hope I'm wrong, I wound hate any of them to get hurt. This is an exciting turn of events, Barbara. I'm off on two weeks holiday tomorrow, so I will miss next weeks but will catch up when I get back, Well done on this part, my friend.
