My finger often rolls and so it happens to me. The piece has to be really horrible for me to give four stars.

I don't usually make many suggestions, but if it's terrible and there are lots of mistakes, I just say it needs a little work and point out a few. But I give them a five for effort. Heck, I still make careless mistakes because I write so fast and hate editing. LOL. Thanks for pointing out the four. I would never give you anything but a six if they gave us enough to go around. :-)

I am glad this was a positive experience for you. It's a sad commentary, though, on the literary state of America. In the Catskills, once, my wife (then alive!) heard of a tiny local fire station inviting people to come and speak, of all things, about Gabby Hayes, who once had a farm in that region. There were far more people present there!
