My condolences on the loss of your best, beloved friend. Been there, done that many times. I lost 3 kitties in two months just after my sister died. Your contest entry is well-written. I enjoyed reading it, although it is poignant. I believe critters go to Heaven. Google Rainbow Bridge. Best wishes.

Good luck in the contest, Earl. It is never easy to say goodbye. Our pets who give their devoted love do indeed become our babies. Hey I know there is a pet heaven, because I have whispered to every pet that I've had to cross the Rainbow Bridge and wait for me. Blessings.
