This sounds so interesting. I love historical fiction and look forward to reading this story. I'm wondering where your characters will take us.

This has the making of a very interesting story. I have spent time near the Austrian Border. Much in Germany and know many tales. This should be another good one. Bring it on.

I lived in Germany for 8 years while my husband was stationed there. I hope I can pull it off.

No doubt you can. Go to the Holocaust Museum. I did an essay once, not sure if here or not, but the museum was vital. Best to you.

"Picking Up The Pieces," is my suggestion for the title. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words. making for a very good read.

Thank you for the encouragement. I have chosen Perennials of War, meaning things that keep coming back. Katie chose it, she had some really good ones.

Hi, barbara.
I'm totally fascinated with the plot and wanted to start reading the first chapter right now.
Your characters are fascinating. You've really fleshed out the basics. I can't wait to hear them talking, interacting.

I sounds like a great framework for a plot Barbara, a comprehensive look into one of those seemingly frequent struggles to regain lost valuables in the pre war period, families fleeing nazi Germany during the time of Hiter's rise to power. Well done, Barbara, sounds exciting, blessings, Roy
