This is a great ending to your story. Finally, these two stubborn people realized what they both wanted. I am sure that you are glad to finish this and hope you don't have to do a lot of editing before it is printed. Will be looking forward to your next one.

Thank you for the encouragement. After I edit this, it will go to two additional editors before printing.

Damn... I never read a romance novel till I joined in on yours about mid-way through.
Finally these two found a way back to each others arms, and it doesn't matter who took the bull by the horns (ha, that's my cowboy reference).
I'm glad I came in and now I can look forward to the next novel.
Great writing, Barbara.

That may look like six stars, but it's actually twenty. What a wonderful job you have done with this chapter and the story. It should make you a millionaire. If it doesn't, it's not your fault. Have a great day. Shirley

Well, always being the sucker for happy endings, you sure did end this one on a happy note that left me smiling. Of course, don't tell anyone that an old hard boot boy likes romance. LOL. Thanks for sharing.

I was shocked at my father-in-law's funeral the number of men who came up to me during the bereavement dinner and said they enjoyed my novels. It literally left me with my jaw dropped. Thank you for the kind review.

Yes, ma'am, our tough exterior gets a little mushy down deep. LOL.

So sorry we have reached the end. What about all the court cases against the perverts etc? Another book, perhaps? Or did you have something else for us to feast on? Well done! Tope writing as always. I will miss this.

I have realiy enjoyed this book and I know it will do well when published. I love the way you ended it. The compromise sounds good but doesn't a compromise envolve two parties each giving up a little to reach a mutual settlement. It seemed all the compromising was on Ali's part.

I agree. I think Ali is the one who compromised but is it really a compromise. I think it's who she really is. Thank you for the support.

This is another excellent chapter. I am a little sorry to see the book end. What keeps me going is you have another book in the works. I enjoy your writing. I do not see any room for improvement. Have a blessed day.

I consider this to be the perfect ending to a perfect story about the perfect beginning of a brand new life for two perfectly matched people. Is that too perfect? I hope not. LOL.

Hallelujah! I knew one of these love-stuck, yes, I meant stuck, knuckleheads was going to make a move. Go, Ali! A auction was a sweet ending and with an engagement too. We must be on the same wavelength.
Sending you my best today as always, dear Barbara.

Well, it's about time!!
It was getting frustrating watching those two dance around not being able to say to each other what they were feeling. :)
And I mean that in the very best way - any story that can have a reader cheering for (or booing) a character is one that has drawn the reader into the tale. Especially when we knew the outcome was going to be what it was meant to be all along.
Thank you for a wonderful, heart-felt story.
