You did a great job, Sandra, with your idioms and the story. It's evident much research went into this post. I didn't know Chaucer was the first to use that idiom about the fish out of water. Your images for each one are perfect, too. The story about the ducks is well done. I'm happy for the ducks that the women saw the movement and stopped what she was doing. The little jumpers would probably been difficult to get on, but they would be so cute.

Thank you, Jan. I had to make sure my hubby wasn't making it up, lol, but it's a true story and the inn is still there under the name of the Drunken Duck Inn!! Lol. I'm glad you enjoyed them. Have a wonderful New Year, my friend. :)) Sandra xxx
