It is a big issue with most Jewish families. Marriage is special and receiving Gentile into their blood line creates much pressure from many sources. Question now is how is this Author is going to make this come about. I know love is blind, but marriage is a great eye opener. LOL.

Danger awaits when your future mother-in-law becomes your friend. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for an excellent read. There is very good imagery.

Hello Barb
I found much pleasure reading this chapter
I found the whole scene with Susan and Shana snapping green beans with the sounds and actions of the birds and the squirrel and having such a relaxing conversation about each others feelings

Shana and Drew's mum are snapping beans on the porch when Susan broaches the subject of feelings between Drew and Shana, and Shana shares.that they have talked about it, and Drew, pretty well, had he can wait until Shana has made up her mind that religious beliefs don't matter in love, that because Benjamin loves his daughter he'll come around. Well done. Barbara, excellent chapter, blessings, Roy

Hi Barbara, I liked this. Not much is happening, but Susan gets a much needed talk with Shana. I hope she will brake out of her shell and make the right decision. All the best. Ulla:)))

Hi there. Finally coming to you on my brand new Windows 10 PC. This was another great "getting down to tin tacks" Chapter. Just one little suggestion. "I('m) betting your father loves you enough

I like it at the very beginning of the chapter , especially with the greenbeans. Lord, that brings memories back of my grandmother and how I helped her with greenbean or snap beans. " Later that morning, Shana left her bedroom and found Susan snapping green beans on the back patio. "Can I help?"
"You don't need to. I enjoy sitting here and watching the birds while I do it." Susan snapped another couple beans and then pointed to the roof of a building. "That squirrel's trying to help himself to the bird feeder." It touches home a lot because I do the same thing myself. Its a great job, and thanks for sharing.

Another nice quiet slice of life here and some good sense talking from Susan.
"You don't need too - just to here.
A slow deep breath slipped - maybe a comma after slow.
