Another top chapter. I love how they get closer and closer as time goes by. The punch line at the end a reminder that trouble is still not far away. No spags, keep it coming.

Wow, here we go again, Barbara, with another thrilling chapter. I love how you portrayed Shana's inner turmoil within herself, with Anderson, and his brothers, and how all of this tension is released in a revealing conversation:
"I know that, but there's more going on in that pretty little head than me not wearing a suit."
Just as the reader relaxes in this momentof reconciliation, there is action:
Silence ensued as their lips almost met. A crack and a bang sounded. Anderson pushed Shana to the ground and covered her body with his.
What? I thought. I have to read the next chapter to find out what happened. Thank you for sharing and for entertaining.

Oh my, the ending of this chapter caught me off guard, as it also did to the characters. For a brief moment I forgot about the death threats. Thank goodness Shana was with Drew and not walking alone..; of course I doubt he would ever leave her alone. I like how Drew subtly told Shana his hope for the future. Now I want to know her response to him. Of course, that's after we find out who shot at them. Great work with this chapter. I anxiously look forward to the next chapter.

Thank you for the kind review. Shana is very concerned with the Jewish/Gentile issue.

I understand that, but me thinks she needs to get past that or she will lose the man of her dreams.

Hi Barbara,
good instalment here. Shana's worries and Anderson's reassurances are well writ here and a very nice ending to the piece.
