Sounds like an interesting menu that would make this restaurant a rarity in most cities. Caviar may sound appetizing, unless it's referred to as roe or fish eggs. Of course, Beluga or the light-golden Ossetra that comes from wild Sturgeon are top notch for sure, with a price to match. Now the excitement is about to begin, and I can hardly wait. Great job. :-)

I just glad to know that even teachers make my most usual type mistakes. LOL! I don't usually point out the obvious things that I know writers will catch. But this is one of those kinds that we might read right through twenty times without ever noticing it, as I noticed a few paragraphs down you said pitcher rather than picture.

I do those things all the time. It amazes me how we can read right through our own mistakes and catch those of others. I enjoy your stories. :-)

Barbara--
I am reading the "Volk" novels by...Brent Ghelfi, I think it is, about a Russian agent, carries a sig. This reminds me bit of him -- though I don't think you're trying to do the same thing. Last Volk novel I read was about missing art -- a bit hard to "buy," not the art but the plot. I have sampled your work before and will again. This is intriguing and the setting well drawn.

Thanks
Wabigoon/Jeff

I have no idea who Brent Ghelfi is. Maybe I need to check him out. Thank you for the kind review.

Volk is a real rough and tumble Russian agent, porn entrepreneur, graduate of Chechnya. Ghelfi's writing, knowledge is sometimes impressive, sometimes not. I figure the more I know about Russia at the moment the better. Ghelfi not like what I know of your writing at all.

Good reading, once again. Keep up the good work. Trying to get 2 final chapters of my biography regarding the last 3 months or so of my wife in Hospital and after completed. Now a couple of spags. and a picture of ice water with lemon."...I guess the "picture" in the current setting is appropriate...but I think you meant "pitcher" I see you got this corrected down further, hehe.

I have made that correction and will take care of the line jump, but I think the computer won't allow me to correct it. Thank you for the kind review.
