This is one I can't wait to read. I think I like the idea of an attractive man living in a penthouse apartment! Shana may turn out to be a lucky girl. Despite the fact that Anderson is interested in her, he's not going to neglect trying to solve the problem of the Russians and what there is about the painting they're so anxious to get. It will be interesting to see what comes of trying to place a mole in the Russian organization. The dogs are fabulous. Romeo is doing a great job of staying with Shana. judi

Good chapter again. Good to let new readers know about your "Romances" Cos you always hold out until almost the last couple of chapters for the 'romance' bit, hehe. One spag in the intro from the previous chapter. Ask Jane and Helen (to)come in.

Uh, oh, Shana must have something on her mind, or butterflies in her tummy that are stirring some thoughts. LOL! And of course, maybe not. Great job. :-)

The pool game is a nice addition to the chapter. I wonder why they are reluctant to speak to the twice removed second cousin?

Hi, Barbara. Another interesting chapter to your book. The pool game was a good side attraction for the important on-going dialogue.
Suggestions: (From previous post notes) I don't understand this part: "Ask Jane and Helen come in."
And:
I will still never understand why you don't just call them chapters. I think the other language is just a confusion setter before the reader even begins. (Just an opinion of course)
TODAY'S POST:
Chapter 6 part 2 Perfect!
Aand: Switch these two things around. Put the action first and the dialogue following it: ""I don't need you to do anything." Anderson shook his head.
Good job, my friend. Bob

Still on pace and moving forward. I wonder why the guys are reluctant to use Jane's cousin (twice removed).
The interesting thing about this novel is that after I read a section, I end up asking more questions than I had when I started reading. Which keeps me reading. Getting this wrapped up into an inevitable and satisfying conclusion will be a Master's work.

I can sense the suspense of this writing. It does create intrigue for the reader. I thought Anderson coming out and directly asking if the girls had an association with the Russian mafia was a little unbelievable but over all the characters appear very interesting. Good luck.

If you had read the entire novel, from the beginning it is believable. Thank you for the kind review.

I really like the pool-playing scene between Anderson and Philip. That was the perfect backdrop for their conversation.
I know they need to proceed with caution because of the danger the Russian mafia presents, but it also seems as if time is of the essence. One small mistake could have drastic consequences.
And why is Shana fully dressed and not in bed? Good place to end this section, leaving us wanting more.

Hi Barbara, a great chapter, which moved forward at a good pace. Only thing I can say is to rewrite : 'Helen put her forearms on the arms of the chair and adjusted herself in the chair.' You have arms and chair twice in the same sentence.
Looking forward to reading on. All the best. Ulla:)))

An excellent episode Barbara. With Anderson and Philip playing pool, they tried to decide if Jane's second cousin can help them with the investigation, concerning Shana, but decide to shelve it for the moment. They want to find anybody who know the workings of the Russian mafia and Morzov, well done, blessings, Roy
Typo : My second cousin(,) twice removed on my my mother's side(,)
