You've given yourself a very interesting situation to explore. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
I'm a little confused about the "Former Nazi ancestors who want to retain their priceless art collections". Are Anderson's ancestors former Nazis? Is that how he came to be in possession of the artwork? But I'm sure you will answer those questions with your story!
I am curious to see how you develop Shana. Her bio sounds a little meek and mild, but she will have to be strong to balance a billionaire and Nazi bad guys.
Definitely looking forward to Chapter One!
Keep writing!

I think Shana is going to grow. I am going to change the wording on the Nazi's. Thank you for the kind review.

Hi Barbara,
I think this is a very handy crib sheet for those wishing to follow along with your new story to have. nice idea. Just the character list alone gives a taster for what is to follow.

Intriguing and informative notes, Barbara, thank you. They have certainly encouraged me to follow the way in which you develop and handle the story. You obviously need to be familiar with Jewish culture and way of thinking, and from this item, I can see you have given yourself free reign to make this novel as intriguing and page-turning as only you can. Have you needed to do a lot of research on Germans and the art world? Good luck with your efforts. Rergards. Mary

This story sounds very different your last. I'm excited to read the first chapter and I'm sure I'll like the writing. Of course, a story can be the best written ever and still not keep my attention. Your last had me from the first chapter I read, and I'm hoping to be as engrossed in this one. :-)

Clearly, you've done a lot of work in developing this list of characters and mini-bios, Barbara. I applaud your preparation.
Maybe this indicates why I can't write novels--no preparation.
I made a few notes. Helpful? I don't know.
Best of luck with this endeavor.
Peace, Lee
he left the paintings and sculptors (sculptures).
Former Nazi ancestors who want to retain their priceless art collections. --I wonder if 'ancestors' is correct. I think you're talking about the offspring of former Nazis.

this is an interesting synopsis for the next novel you have in the back of your mind, sounds like it will be an interesting turn of events and different from anything else that you've written. maybe i can keep up with this one

Wow--this sounds compelling. As a New York Jew whose grandfather immigrated from Russia, this hits a home-chord with me. :) Looking forward to reading it. Great list of characters and short synopsis.
Well organized post! Just a few minor things to note:
Even though there is bold to separate the basic descriptions, I think you need period before the next sentences in almost all of these.
Jewish for beautiful - maybe clarify by adding the name"
'Shana' means Jewish for beautiful
Anderson's five(-)year(-)old daughter
Warmly, rd

I am so overwhelmed with work right now I don't see how I can possibly make a promise to follow this novel, my friend, but your plot looks so intriguing I don't see how I will be able to resist.
One other thing I want to mention about this - it's dynamite exposure for a new book idea - I am so thrilled to see someone else promoting themselves/their work! I am SURE you will garner many followers!

I have read your notes and character briefs. Looks like you are developing a fascinating story. I am very intrigued. Every so often you hear in the news that some where this part of history is to be deleted from the history books and it enrages me. This is something that shA ould never be forgotten nor should we ever stop reading and writing about or any of the other atrocities no matter how difficult it is to see or hear about them. My hope is one day the atrocities will stop. I don't know if the wounds of genocide can be healed, I don't know if they should be, perhaps for the individuals but not as a nation. They should be left open and raw so no one ever forgets.
Ok, I will stop now. lol.

Hey! I look forward to getting into another one of your great saga's. I am sure this will have as many twists and turns as you have been known to dish up in previous offerings. Can't remember if you wrote the one about Savanna and the Ghosts or if that was someone else's?
