Hi DebiThis is a smoothly rhymed poem. Appeareth and Spirit seems forced because appeareth is the only Biblical style word in the poem and you have to hyphenate to make the slant rhyme more obvious.
Otherwise it is a good poem of your faith and show us what faith should be.
Keep writing and stay healthy

I always appreciate feedback, so thank you for that. I did do some things on that line to fix the forced feel to it, and I'm not sure why it wasn't showing the hyphenated word, but it was all screwed up. I had to delete it all and redo it. Hopefully it is fixed now. Something had happened to my poem and picture maybe about the time when you were reading it. I was having technical difficulties. Like I said, hopefully it is ok now. Thank you again, my sweet friend!

Oh, I so agree with you. Jesus and His father are such truly wonderful friends. I don't make it to church every Sunday, as I do Livestream, but they definitely are with a person no matter where we sit to listen to a sermon.

Most people seem to have forgotten that Thanksgiving was originally a day conceived to give thanks to God for your blessings in the year. It's very rooted in the bible and biblical philosophy of faith. I liked how you put in there how the Spirit is the consciousness of our action. It is important to understand that we must accept we are failing in life and agree to be changed and saved by Jesus in order to live in the body of Christ. Today people seem to want to make up their own rules. estory

A great praise poem, and I think its appropriate for Thanksgiving. Most people seem to have forgotten that Thanksgiving was originally a day conceived to give thanks to God for your blessings in the year. It's very rooted in the bible and biblical philosophy of faith. I liked how you put in there how the Spirit is the consciousness of our action. When you read my poem, did it look terribly large or could you look to see if it does now? I just got a message from Jan, saying that it is way too big, picture and poem. And it is not showing on my ipad. So I am worried if that is just her computer or maybe she made something bigger before with her fingers and forgot to bring it back in. Thank you, I truly appreciate you kind comments and your answer!

Yeah it did seem a bit out of drawing, as it were. This site can have some weird effects on the posting. I use the traditional posting method try to keep it simple. estory

Yes it was large, and a big gap from the title until the beginning of your poem. The lines mingled with your picture and profile. But moving it, I was able to read it. I didn't say anything in case it was my laptop. I'm not sure what to suggest. xxxx

I just got a message from Jan saying that my poem and picture are huge and taking up more than normal space, but is not showing that on my ipad. Could you look or did you notice that????

John, you are always so sweet. And these inspirational poems were meant to give food for thought, which was perfect for the Holidays. Did you know that Jimmy Fortune was one of the Statler Brothers? I just love his voice and he is one of my favorite singers. Been to many concerts of his.
