I hope Alexandra will learn not to be so sensitive. She's always getting upset about something and then having to backtrack, when she knows Cord's intentions are always good. I was puzzled by the escape room. You might give some explanation about it. I like Cord's reaction to seeing horses. The carriage ride sounds like a great idea. I hope nothing goes wrong while they're taking it. Great character development. judi

I didn't want to spend a lot of time on the escape room. I only mentioned parts that helped their relationship move forward. Thank you for the kind review.

I will if anybody else questions it.

Men and their egos! Goodness me, even today in this equality game, they still want to be 'the man!' Lol. ~Still, thankfully, Anthony understands both of them, and gave them time to sort it out. I enjoyed this chapter, Barbara. Just one little missing word, below. I'll have to catch the next two weeks chapters when I come home. Well done, my friend. :)) Sandra xx

Thank you for the catch. When I was searching for that sentence, in my head the 'know' was there and I struggled finding it. I hate doing that. It is now corrected. I appreciate the help.

It's so easy to so. The brain races ahead of us sometimes and our fingers think they've written it. Lol. xx

Now, Barbara, this was another great chapter. Yes, Ali put her foot into it but got out of it in one piece: not least thanks to Anthony. She'd learned a lesson. Now what? Ulla:)))

I sometimes feel that for two such seemingly strong characters, Cord and Alex are a bit uptight; they skirt around a lot of issues. A lot of words are used, but no real progress is made in things advancing. Excellent editing. Kate xx

Thank you for the kind review. I think they are each afraid to take the chance. I can promise things are about to change.

Culture clashes and a somewhat toxic male ego, can cause problems in a budding relationship, even when ethnicity and family history are removed. It is at that time that maturity has to step in and calm the waters. You did an excellent job of illustrating that.
