Wow, Jay, I am intrigued. I've been missing this story but you certainly don't disappoint. They have very little time left and we still need to hear the most crucial details. I can't wait for those. What a fantastic story, painting a picture of a time gone by. Ulla:)))

Please accept my grateful appreciation for your kind words. Yours is one of ten reviews I answered (I hoped) thoughtfully ... only to have them erased after the tenth one. Consequently, this must sound generic, my friend.

The same thing has happened to me in the past. It's very frustrating. Thanks a lot for your answer. :)))

I'm glad you brought in Herbie as a bit of a break from the two characters, but you might give credit in your list of characters. The revenge motive is very intriguing. And with Juniper being the one groomed to do the killing. Interesting response to the judge's verdict with both the judge and Flourney having to skedaddle to other parts of the country. Love the imagery in the cartoon of them. The reporter doesn't have much time left before he's scheduled to leave, so we'll see if he's able to find up his interview in that amount of time Fanny does tend to ramble on. judi

I enjoyed reading this. I've been missing this story. The reported doesn't have much time left to squeeze the rest of the story out before he has to go. There are still things left that we'd not heard before. You certainly no the language of the day and aren't afraid to use the "n" word.
No one questioned it back in those days. I guess it wasn't even considered offensive.

This is a very good read and I like the way I can picture the characters by their accents. This is a very well written script and thank you for sharing. Have a great weekend.

I'm so happy Fanny is back and, of course, you, Jay. :) A great scene. The notion that Juni was being groomed by her mother to kill Thurston Flourney is a perfect hanger.
I'm looking forward to another.

No worries, Jay. I'm used to being erased! I'll just go back to the old drawing board. :))

Jay, it that happened indeed! Well, we have to wait for the next installment. Write faster! I guess our intrepid reporter could miss his train, but I am guessing not. Good
job, waiting for the next scene. Terry.

    Are you better?
reply by the author on 11-Jul-2022
Much better, thank you. I've been taking Paxlovid for the past four days. One more day and the series will be finished. I'll retest and hopefully, it will be negative. I've just had to put FS on the back burner.

Oh, no. My head is spinning with confusion as to what drove these different women. I feel as though I need to go back and read the whole play carefully in one go. And an important clue for me was Fanny's confusion about Herbie's wedding. What else is she confused about? Kate xx

Wow, old mate. I love all the vernacular and all that. This was really good reading and I look forward to where you are going with it. No spags. Nearly three lines and Tom wanted more! Sigh!

Haha! Tell me about it, Geoff! It's frustrating when you've said everything you wanted to, then Tom comes in and says, "Charm them some more ..." Thanks for the six stars, bud!
