Debi, I think you echo everyone's feeling on Fanstory who know Jaybird so well. I always read his poems, and read them out to my husband. He does truly write from the heart, and I can feel how much he misses the one he loves and misses so much. His wife is his soul mate and she is waiting for him. But, we need him here, sharing his amazing wisdom. She is a grand gentleman, who also happens to be an amazing poet. Well done, Debit, this tribute to him, is fabulous, your words come from your heart, too. Well done, my friend. Love and hugs. Sandra xx

Sandra, you are very kind, as that was truly my feelings as well, since he has such a great talent and deserved to be honored. I had heard about his passionate love for his wife and that he misses her so, I was hoping that he would know as much as she waits for him, he has people here that treasure him as well. Thanks again Sandra, as I hope that he reads all the kind words that are being said about him.

You know Sarah, I think that it was just something I couldn't get out of my head. I felt like God just wouldn't let me leave it alone after I read his lovely poem, as you also said it touched you too. Ever since Regina wrote that poem for me, it touched me so deeply and then I realized that for many years I've written for others, but nobody had ever written a poem for me. I then knew what it means to have someone do that for you. thanks Sarah for your lovely comments towards Jay and also tor the poem.

You are so very welcome my friend, as I just couldn't get your lovely poem out of my head. When God wakes me up, then I know that He is serious about what He wants me to do. I know we haven't had much connection, but I love reading your lovely poetry and am in awe of your talent. Every word came from my heart and I truly believe you are a Legendary Poet.

I loved reading your poem. The words flowed well and were
straight from your heart. You did a great job with the rhymes
and the smooth flow. However, the most important aspect
was the message you gave Jaybird and the message others
can take away for themselves.

Thanks Barb, I hope Jay knows that it truly did come from the heart, as his last post made me kinda sad, so I couldn't get it out of my head.
Do you think that it's a post that I should promote, as he is worth it, but I just wanted to do something nice for him? Maybe I will, not that my poem is such an honor, but what was in my heart is was true and he deserves to read comments given by his peers.
