Good news about your granddaughter's achievement. I hope you're making progress with treatment for your wrist. The boys are so cute in this, complaining about the slave labor. Gabriel has done his best to ingratiate himself with them, and it's paying off. Their late father surely didn't pay much attention to them. He'll surely have the boy's approval when he proposes for real. Gabriel's right about the timing. Maybe when the school year ends. I was thinking you might just give a brief synopsis of what happened previously instead of using so much from your previous post. judi

We'll see. I have this novel finished. I think (hope) you'll like the surprise ending. Thank you for the kind review.

You're welcome. The boys would be lucky to have Gabriel as a dad. I'll be excited to see what you have in store for the ending. judi

It seems like your wrist is healing nicely, so hopefully it will be will get better quickly. The story is getting to the nitty gritty. The story Katherine told of the friend where her ex-husband did all the right things before they were married and then reverted to kind, unfortunately is sometimes true. One wonders why. Beautifully written my friend Barbara. I like your ideas on courting. Well done, blessings Roy
Typo : I didn't want (to) scare you...2; Tomorrow I'm buying (a) phone charger...

Interesting chapter. I'm glad you addressed the constant helping thing. It was a looming shadow and a bit odd. now, that the family knows a wedding is coming... well, in a romance story, isn't that the end? Isn't their journey complete?

Notes:

Tomorrow I'm buying [a] phone charger and keeping it in my purse."

- insert. Although it is odd she doesn't have one in her car.

"Why you doing all of this?"

"Why are you doing all of this?"

- She seems the proper speaker type.

I have already fixed those areas. Thank you for the catches. In a proper romance, nobody has said 'I love you, yet, so the story goes on. I happen to know things can still go very wrong. Both these two still have issues from their past.

YAY Arianna!! Tell her I said congrats, and I'm glad you are doing better. God's watching over you! And this chapter? First off, Gabriel's so sweet and kind (kinda pushy lol, but a good kinda pushy.) Second, I CAN'T WAIT TIL THEY'RE TOGETHER FOR GOOOD! Those boys are too funny, saying that he was proposing lol. Can't wait for the next chapter!!

(Oh, I did spot one typo: "Of course, what would you like? (")I have lemonade, tea, and water."

I'm glad Katherine is getting all of her insecurities addresses now, so "when the time is right" she can be comfortable and happy with being Gabe's wife. It's nice they're talking about it, and the boys are excited about it. Looking forward to the rest.

One thing: "If I'd have hit him, I'd have been wrong too." - you don't need either of the the 'haves' in this instance. In long form it's if I had hit him...

Glad to hear your pain is diminishing.

Hi Barbara, I really liked this chapter and Gabriel has finally come out that he wants to marry Katherine. That is just too sweet. I love it.
I only found a minor thing: "I didn't want scare you." ="I didn't want to scare you." Ulla xx

I'm so glad your wrist is better and that you are in less pain.

I'm really enjoying this story and I feel bad that you're having so much problem with your wrist. It is good to know it is healing. The guy seems to good to be true when it comes to dealing with the boys. I'm sure they are getting more attention than they ever got before from any man. It is true men sometimes change after marriage. Thankfully, I didn't get that kind.

I hope they tell you everything is mending well and it's only a matter of time.

Of course, the connection between Gabriel and the boys is written beautifully and it is obvious that Katherine is coming around to his way of thinking... it just takes time.

I'm buying phone

solving the problem the smart way is. (It just reads funny to me)

Smiles, Carol
