Wow! That was exciting. It made me feel like I was actually watching the game. You are very good at creating atmosphere. It seems that Gabriel is on his best behavior during a game when his team is winning. I am waiting to see what happens when his team meets with some adversity.

Bravo, Barbara... i have no love for football, but you moved the reader through the game step by step so I was able to understand the play. I love how Katherine keeps comparing her past to Gabriel... things she thought she'd removed herself from are still a very important part of her. Very well written, of course. smiles Carol
