What an excellent entry for this writing prompt. Short but very sweet indeed. The past year has taught us just how much we communicate with our facial expressions and how difficult it is to encounter other humans without being able to see their full faces.

Sounds like a nice friendship there with each other brought together by a dig rescue I love the picture it is riviring to she so much energy coming from one anxious dig.

Nothing like a dogs to bring people together. What a great story. The dog wasn't the only rescue in this story. Two lonely people were also rescued. I enjoyed reading this.

Lovely story! You've got some winning elements here -- romance and dogs! I like the way the story develops, and the way it ends with more walks on the beach for this couple. I'm glad the dogs got along, too.
I only found one little spag:

Bit confused at the beginning- I think because the dog is male and called Brandy- which I always think of as a female name. Maybe something to think about.
