I think I'd be out of the door as fast as possible, too. Looks like the rental company will have a hard time renting this property. It might be better to tear it down.

You've captured the fright of this experience really well and it made the hairs on my neck stand up, imagining myself in that situation.
As a suggestion, I think you could delete the following section. It is interesting as geographic information, but reading it slows down the pace and I think it is unnecessary:
"The Savannah is a major river in the southeastern United States, forming most of the border between the states of South Carolina and Georgia. Two tributaries of the Savannah, the Tugaloo River, and the Chattooga River, form the northernmost part of the border."

Well done, this is an excellent entry in this ghost story writing contest, I think most people would leave a place with three separate voices telling them to get lost. I enjoyed reading this horror and thriller fiction about an old haunted farmhouse. I have never had an experience with ghosts. The scariest thing that I have dealt with have been with people that are narcissists. They can literally suck the soul right out of you. Merry Christmas!
