Very cute - well done. The car with the faulty windows sounds like a boxful of lemons. You must have a high-class clintel (sp) if you feel they care about your car - and then they back into it.
Good story.

I actually DO have a high-class clientele --lots of doctors and lawyers and judges and CPA's and business owners. They don't want to be backing into a pos car!!
And the Jetta wasn't a lemon; she just got old and began acting up...much like I'll do in the probably not-too-distant future!!
Thanks for the fun review, Gail. xo

I know I shouldn't laugh at your misfortunes, but honestly you couldn't make this up.
As always this is well written and a thoroughly enjoyable read.

You are so right, Freda! I definitely could not, even with MY vivid imagination, make this up. And just wait until you read the NEXT two car story chapters! OY!!
Thanks for the fun review. (I'm GLAD you were laughing!!) xo

You have a great gift of writing pieces that teach lessons in the best way: with laughter. And you're not afraid to laugh at yourself, which is a awesome trait to have. Thanks for the great read this morning, Rachelle.

Another hilarious story. You are very good at turning your life into writing material.
The cheek of the lady who thought she had bumped into the non-existent bushes! I hope she paid for the repair.
Thanks for sharing.

Well, her insurance company did --over FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS!!!
Ps This is supposed to be in my Lessons in the Key of Life book, but I inadvertently posted it Lessons in the Key of Life instead. I'm still working on fixing that!! Oy.

Well, with five kids, she needed and enormous vehicle, and mine was just a little Jetta Trek. And we're talking over a dozen years ago, so it was REALLY a big amount of money! It was a practically new car, though, so they wouldn't claim it as "totaled."
