I agree with your thought on Zachery... his violence would come in a more insidious way. Great job Barbara and good luck on your changes. Thanks so much for the read. Yours, diana

At least Shana is not a gold digger after everything she can get. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very interesting read. There is very good imagery.

Excellent work in this chapter. Anderson is recuperating after being wounded. Sarah's been through a lot, and now she has to worry about Anderson. The part about bringing along the clothes Anderson had bought for Shana is excellent. it shows his generosity and his affection for her. She's still worried about accepting them, but is looks like she will. She understands it was an act of kindness on his part. Now there's the question of whether the penthouse might be safer. I'm beginning to wonder if the Russian has some inside help, as he seems too much in touch with what's going on. judi

The sheer stress of worry that Anderson feels, that of Anderson worrying about Shana's safety, and Shana worrying that she nothing but a burden to Anderson, and the painting, which is circumstantial, for some reason, Kuztetsov, still wasn'ts to kill people, well done, blessings, Roy

Wow! You certainly have a way with carrying a complete scene with nearly all dialogue -- how delightful! The action flows so very nicely on the lips of the characters __

Very good. Even someone having not read previous chapters will find this interesting. Word flow and pacing are excellent. The dialogue is spot on. I like all the threads that permeate the story. Makes me want to continue reading. Excellent.

H Barbara, I liked this chapter. Also I think Zachary is as firm as can be expected. Had he attacked he would've been arrested for insult against a policeman. A pretty serious offence. So it's as well he didn't. I still think it's about time that Shana gets a bit more assertive. Something must surely happen soon. All the best. Ulla:)))

Things do get complicated wherever they go, but I can understand why Jeff wanted the to stay at the penthouse, it was so much easier to have guarded with the right men. Well, what will happen next? Poor Shana is going crazy with all this happening around her, it's not what she's been used to, but I suspect it will all end well. I'm still enjoying this story so much! Sandra xxxx
